Custom Arrow Level Creator & Editor
Design your own custom arrow logic puzzle boards online. Adjust grid size, draw custom arrow paths, and run our built-in solvability validator to confirm if the board is solvable. Once verified, publish and copy the share link to challenge your friends!
"Every custom level is verified by a client-side search algorithm. If the board contains deadlocks, circular blocking chains, or arrows without direct exit lanes, the editor warns you before letting you publish."

How to Create Your Custom Arrow Puzzles
1. Set Grid Dimensions
Select between an 8x8 grid or a 10x10 grid. The 8x8 size is perfect for quick, elegant puzzles with short chains, while the 10x10 size allows for massive blocking networks and intricate multi-step dependency graphs.
2. Draw Arrow Paths
Click and hold or drag across adjacent grid cells to draw a path. The path represents the body and tail of the arrow. The longer the path, the more space it consumes, blocking other arrows until it is cleared.
3. Choose Arrow Direction
Once your path is drawn, complete it by picking its direction (↑, ↓, ←, or →) from the control panel. The arrow head will be placed at the final point of your drawn path, facing the selected border.
4. Run Solvability Check
Click Test Play. The editor will automatically run the client-side validation solver. If it detects loops or unsolvable locks, it will warn you. If solvable, it loads the level so you can play-test it.
5. Win the Test Run
Solve your custom level in the play-test workspace. Completing the level acts as the final confirmation of solvability, enabling the Share Link option on the control bar.
6. Share with the Community
Generate a unique URL. The entire layout of your custom level is serialized and encoded directly into the query string parameters, meaning no server database upload or account registration is required to share!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I place multiple arrows on the same path?
No, each grid cell can only be occupied by one arrow's body/path or head. If you need to edit or delete a placed arrow, simply click any cell in its path to remove it, and draw a new one.
Why does the editor say my level is unsolvable?
The validator runs a logical search to see if there is any sequence of moves that clears all arrows. A level is unsolvable if there is a circular blocking loop (e.g., Arrow A blocks Arrow B, and Arrow B blocks Arrow A) or if an arrow's exit lane is blocked by outer borders or permanent obstacles.
Do my custom levels expire?
No! Because the entire level configuration (grid width, height, and each arrow path/direction) is encoded inside the URL itself (Base64-like serialization), the link is permanent and will work forever.
Are custom levels free to play?
Yes. Creating, play-testing, and sharing levels is 100% free with no advertising, downloads, cookies, or tracking scripts.
